- Lots of students lined up at masses to get their ashes today. But perhaps the most telling sign of faith on this day of fasting was the desolate student center Chick-fil-A at the lunch hour.

- Not my experience with ACB as a scholar. In my 2nd year on the faculty I met with her about a possible paper. She thought my project was too narrow and identified the theoretical questions lurking beneath. That convo led to 3 papers that became the center of my tenure case.
