Some people forget that Cooper Flagg reclassified into the ‘25 Draft Class and that he’s ONLY 18 years old
He’s the YOUNGEST player in the league & should be lacing up for Duke, but, instead, was a consensus #1 overall pick
And he’s doing stuff like this
I hope whomever was rooting against Cooper Flagg enjoyed the first few weeks of the season, because he’s turning the corner & his confidence is climbing
Like I said in my Rookie Ladder 2 weeks ago, he was always going to work his way up towards the top
VJ Edgecombe was my 4th best prospect on my big board, in a tier with Ace Bailey, as both had near identical grades
At the time, I argued Ace was the better pick for Philly because of his size & how his shotmaking would synergize
I don’t mind being wrong
It’s a testament to the greatness of James Harden that at 35 years old and 16 years into his NBA career, he’s not only leading the league in most isolation points scored per game (8.9 ppg), but he’s also doing it at an 88th percentile level
For context, that’s higher than SGA,
This is the part of Ace Bailey’s game that had GMs and scouts enamored: high-level shotmaking and footwork that can evolve into being a true NBA-level 1st option
The question is how well he can does this against NBA-level defenders with more athleticism and size
So….we gonna talk about how Bronny James played significant minutes in a close loss against the Jokic-led Nuggets and finished +8?
Or do people only talk about him when he struggles? 👀
Look at Ace Bailey’s little wave man
Things that make you remember he’s just an 18-year-old kid, man
The amount of hate he’s facing before he’s even stepped on a court is unfair to me, especially because most of what’s taken place was his management
