    Kudos to @AOC who actually asked fact-finding Qs, not using most time to give speeches. She let him answer, then asked which others could back up his statements. Veteran lawmakers, R & D alike, should learn from this newcomer on how to actually draw out information.

    Still struggling to understand @RonJohnsonWI last night. He forced nonpartisan Senate staff to read entire covid bill for 10+ hrs. Yet he wasn't there to object when Dems reduced debate to 3 hrs (instead of 20). So, now bill is moving faster to passage, not slower. Strategery?

    It’s time to think politically unthinkable things: let’s create some sorta housing for Congress & please, let’s give staff a big pay raise. Or else Capitol Hill will just be a place for rich kids.

    McCain’s PHX services were overseen by AZ state gov’t and protected by state troopers. Then Congress hosted McCain laying in state. Then Naval Academy hosted burial. All Trump did was allow military flight from PHX to Andrews, carrying McCain.

    US Capitol Police: Officer Brian D. Sicknick passed away tonight due to injuries sustained while "physically engaging with protestors" Wednesday in Capitol. On force since 2008, he collapsed at division HQ after engaging the mob. Just not right. Not at all.
