18 years ago today, Godzilla: Save the Earth was originally released on the PlayStation 2 at NA. It was developed by Pipeworks Software and published by Atari, Inc.
Celebrate the November release anniversaries of two gargantuan Godzilla games – Godzilla: Save the Earth and Godzilla: Unleashed – with "The Making of the Pipeworks Godzilla Trilogy," our new blog post detailing the creation of the iconic trilogy: pipeworks.com/making-the-god…
Not only is it mind-blowing that parents who played our early games are now old enough to enjoy them with their children, it's hard to believe that Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee will be reaching the big 2-0 this year... Cheers to all still playing to this day. ❤️
A title that's near and dear to our hearts turns 20 tomorrow. We invited a few old friends to the office to celebrate the occasion. Happy birthday, Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee! ♥️
Fun fact: Pipeworks and Las Vegas go way back! From Madden to our earlier days with Rampage, The Desert Oasis has been featured in several of our games. But did you know it was almost a stage in Godzilla: Save the Earth? 👀
Catch us in Vegas for #DICE2025 from Feb. 11 - 13!
We want to stress that this is still very early in development with a lot more work left to do, particularly with UI and controls, however we're happy to show a brief first-look at @Terraria_Logic running on the Nintendo Switch.
We've seen a solid number of requests for a possible HD remaster for the prior #Godzilla games we developed and that were published by @atari. Consider supporting a new fan-made petition if you want to see this: bit.ly/2A7a17W@TohoKingdom
Anything is possible, and there's several possible avenues that could be used, but it's a moot point if there isn't any fan interest. Create a petition, hit up message boards, and get fans across the world putting their support behind this! We'll come to the table if Atari will.
