- Do you ever read Scripture only to forget what you read 5 minutes later? Happened to me all the time, until… I started this simple, ancient practice.
- Replying to @philsoutside3. SECOND READING: Go back to 1-2 paragraphs that stood out. Reread it painfully slow, letting each word come to life and your imagination kick in.
- Replying to @philsoutside1. I forget this a lot, but you must pray first. Ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you, give you eyes to see, and give you ears to hear. Without His help no one can comprehend Scripture.
- Replying to @philsoutside2. FIRST READING: Read a larger portion of Scripture, 1-3 chapters. Don’t rush.
