I don’t see this as “Netflix Domination”, rather the domination of empowered storytellers charging full steam ahead with their own voices and visions

I know everyone has already retweeted this, but I wanted to add that James is an actual good human when he’s not being an animator superhuman. He’s incredibly gracious with his time and knowledge. He’s a great teammate and friend. Sometimes your heroes live up to the hype.

Feeling pretty awful for everyone affected by the changes at Netflix. It’s such a huge bummer for Netflix Animation and the whole industry.

I spent 8 years at CNS. Billy&Mandy, Underfist, Chowder, Adventure Time, and then as Creative Director for the shorts in development. It was a dream to come to work everyday. It totally made me who I am today. Thanks for the amazing times CNS. #CartoonNetwork

I’m super inspired by @victoriaying ! I’ll take on 5 black artist mentees for the next 12 months. We’ll meet once a month (and figure out the mentorship as we go). Reply to this thread with 4 pieces of your artwork and an area you’re hoping to improve. #drawingwhileblack

I guess I’ll jump on this. Hard to pick just 4. I feel super lucky to have been able to contribute to some great shows, studios, and projects.
Privileged and thankful for the opportunities to work at four different studios- the common thread to all of them is the humble yet talented artists I was lucky to work next to!!!

There are some things that we got wrong at Netflix Animation, but there was a lot that we got correct. I think the Emmys hinted at that. 1/3

I love that this guide makes the rounds. I don’t love my spelling/grammatical errors. I don’t love all the drawings. Thanks @buenothebear and Pat McHale for trusting me to draw this. Thanks @MrMuto for tagging me when it gets reshared. :)
