    The quarter-finals are starting. Argentina is my favorite for this World Cup. In 2014 his teammates seemed to be waiting for Lionel Messi to solve everything on his own against us - in 2022 they play for him. More on that in my latest @guardian column. 👉🏼 theguardian.com/football/blog/…

    En tant que directeur du tournoi de l’ Euro 2024, je pense que l’idée d’Infantino de disputer les championnats du monde tous les deux ans est mauvaise. Les grands tournois sont encrés dans la tête des supporters, ils marquent ainsi quelques biographies. ⚽️🏟🇪🇺 #2024undDU

    Argentina will be the world champion today - that's my guess. They play as a unit, they fight for each other & they have the brilliant Messi, who's been the measure of all things for many years now. This title is the greatest one you can achieve. Messi can finally crown himself.
