- most infuriating thing about this is the number of boomer / gen xers who told me to โtake some time to figure yourself outโ not realizing that this is terrible advice when everyone is ultra-optimizing every element of their education from the age of 15 to get into these careersI donโt understand how everyone else just knew what to do. like before graduating when they were doing a bunch of micro-internships ready for careers in management consultancy and magic circle law firms. how did they even know those were jobs

- Replying to @pglonghousemy advice to anyone in college now is to get good internships and set yourself up for the cushy career even if ur not sure u want it. Itโs so much easier to hop off the wagon than to hop on it. Find one really motivated person in ur class and just follow their playbook.
