    I am in Berlin and you can cut the tension with a knife. Merkel is on the brink at the moment. In fact, one foot is over the ledge and she is peering into the abyss. AfD may be merely in opposition, but their pressuring of CSU from the right may lead to end of her chancellorship.

    Wow. Germany is reportedly planning to DECREASE defense spending, w/ argument that the 100 billion euro special fund announced after the invasion will cover shortcomings. That fund was supposed to supplement, not replace, defense spending at the 2 percent of GDP threshold!

    Zelensky has performed near perfect in this crisis, showing remarkable restraint as his country comes under attack while also pushing the West for support. He’s exposed Putin by denying him any pretext for invasion, kept his economy afloat, and prepared his ppl for war. 👏 👏
