What's so crazy about this is that Gaetz implies that his kids are black, Richmond says if that's the case I'm showing more concern for your kids than you are, then Gaetz erupts in rage over the offense to his love of his black children, except MATT GAETZ HAS NO CHILDREN AT ALL
What on earth made Matt Gaetz think he could take on The Gentleman From Louisiana lmao?!🔥

    1. The whole Texas GOP platform is insane but the piece that jumped out to me was the endorsement of a state-level electoral college, eliminating one person-one vote in favor of a system they could gerrymander so that the votes of white rural Republicans will count more.

Your periodic reminder: Four months ago we learned there is extensive documentary evidence that the president of the United States and his family planned and executed a massive tax fraud scheme worth hundreds of millions of dollars. nytimes.com/interactive/20…

Recall that Trump said Judge Curiel, who was born in Indiana, couldn't fairly judge his Trump University fraud case because "He's a Mexican." Trump believes that if you're not white, you can never be a real American.

The president only has a marginal effect on job creation, but... Jobs created in first 29 months of Trump presidency: 5.6 million Jobs created in last 29 months of Obama presidency: 6.4 million forbes.com/sites/chuckjon…

The key to the stories about Trump's serial violation of the Presidential Records Act is that he was repeatedly told he was breaking the law, but he kept doing it. Same was true of the Hatch Act. His whole administration's attitude was that obeying the law was optional.

I'd like to thank the president for giving me the opportunity to go on a little rant reminding everyone that the US Postal Service is a fricking marvel, and people's complaints about it are largely bogus. Strap in... /1

People really don't feel nearly enough rage at the way Mitch McConnell and every Republican in the Senate just flat-out stole a Supreme Court seat from Barack Obama.

I'm getting pretty tired of news organizations saying "It's unclear whether the president has the authority to do this" when Trump makes some lunatic claim about something he says he'll do which he obviously has ZERO authority to do.

So weird how whenever a court does a careful examination of something related to Trump's finances, it ends with him admitting he totally scammed everyone and did crimes, then paying a multi-million-dollar fine. But I'm sure everything in his tax returns is on the level.
I think we all should take a step back and ponder the fact that the president* of the United States just admitted in a court finding that he’d looted a charity.

"I'm not an attorney. I watch 'Law & Order' from time to time" says Thom Tillis, making a strong case for his presence on the Senate Judiciary Committee

Here's a crazy radical idea: Just. Give. Kids. Free. Lunch. No income verification, no paperwork, no payment systems, no "lunch debt." Just feed every kid in public school. Why isn't every Democrat advocating for it nationwide? My piece:

A note on the administration's new "public charge" rule. Donald Trump's grandfather Frederick came to the US at 16 with no high school diploma, almost no money, and speaking no English. Under this rule he would certainly have been rejected.
