Shane Walsh has on occasions had his back completely to the ball in this second half when Crokes have been in possession. He has been watching play on the big screen before making runs. That is a different level of awareness & scanning.

- The mystery of the GAA. Shane Conway is one of the best hurlers in Ireland. Last two seasons he has lit up the Fitz, outshining more illustrious names. Yet we don’t get chance to see him hurl in the summer and many would like to see the competition he excels in downgraded further
- Limerick starting 15 yesterday; 5 x Fitzgibbon cup winners 2018 with UL 4 x Fitzgibbon Cup winners 2017 with Mary I 4 x Fitzgibbon Cup winners 2016 with Mary I 10 of starting 15 have won a Fitz in the last three years, not sure what it is saying but it is saying something
- The absolute trolling of Jed Mercurio to have a photo call for another TV show saying that James Nesbitt is H. #LineOfDuty
- Delighted to get this published with massive thanks to @JohnnyBrad1ey and @deniseanalysis after an enjoyable journey on @MScSportsPA Interesting to see evidence considering the recent discourse on the state of hurling. Thread with some info #hurling
- I feel sorry for people who give out about third level GAA. The entertainment provided, the opportunities provided, everything about it. 00:00 - Considering the history of Glen Rovers and their illustrious past players, the fact they’ve been relegated, a thought might now be spared for the clubs that are dying amidst a gentrification of Gaelic Games and the continued decline of GAA in the urban centres
- Kerry had a plan on Sunday which was layered with clarity on roles, willingness to accept the roles for the benefit of the team and then execution when the need was greatest. irishtimes.com/sport/gaelic-g…
- With all of the talk on changing inter county age grades. How about proper respect is given to 2nd & 3rd level competitions. Which are infinitely ahead of U17 & U20 county standard. Lucky to have attended some cracking @gaaleinster schools and @HigherEdGAA games in recent weeksSigerson really is the best competition out there . Where else could you walk in free of charge of a Monday night to watch @ul_gaa v @DCUDocEirGAA in a top class pitch with 30 unbelievable players on show including the 🐐
- Well done to these two fine men on their Junior hurling win tonight with @DCUDocEirGAA, one from Glenfin and one from Transylvania, Romania. As Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh said “neither a hurling stronghold”. Two of the best men a GAA club could have 🇷🇴 🟢🟡
- A great game between two top level teams. It is an awful pity this competition is being jeopardised by self serving county managers who don’t want footballers playing football games!! The development opportunity afforded to players in third level games completely undervaluedFresher A Football result DCU DÉ 1-14 @ucc_gaa 0-11 a great game of football from end to end @HigherEdGAA @ElectricIreland #FirstClassRivals
- Could you imagine if the county boards put a caveat on the #JPMcManus money and said that the clubs had to use it to buy Hurls & Sliotars for the nursery. Put a hurl in the hands of the young people of Ireland and everything will work out.
