Spider-Man 2 is the perfect movie because it’s a romantic melodrama where people talk about love in cafes but then a man with robot tentacles throws a car through the window at them

The 90s were a crazy time. You could make a movie about people looking at documents for 2 hours and 20 minutes and call it something like “The Pelican Brief” and it would be as big as a superhero movie is today

Interesting how every comment is throwing a fit over a Jay-Z song in the trailer while there are zero comments on the Napoleon trailer complaining about the Black Sabbath song…
#Gladiator2 trailer now has more dislikes than likes on YouTube

Genuinely one of the funniest titles in the history of titles

The new season of The Bear has a split-second shot of a photo of Bradley Cooper’s character in Burnt, implying he exists in the universe of the show. This is going to drive me insane

The dumbest thing about this take is these aren’t remotely equivalent, like they’re not even the same medium. One is a 20-minute reality game show, one is a 10-hour work of narrative fiction This isn’t about the creator economy, it’s the mindset that everything is just content

I move for a vote of no confidence in president Zaslav’s leadership
All classic ‘LOONEY TUNES’ shorts are being removed from Max on December 31.

Saw Top Gun: Maverick again. Sitting next to me was an old man, there with his 30-something son. After one scene where Maverick does something really amazing, the man cheered and pounded the armrest with his fist. When the movie ended the old man and his son hugged Great movie

Probably an unpopular take, but I liked Warner Bros NOT having a plan for DC. The past 4 years of “I dunno who cares if they’re connected, let’s just try shit” has been way more interesting than the intricately-planned Marvel stuff made during that time

a bad company led by morons who hate movies
A little over a year after the shelving of 'Batgirl' sent shockwaves throughout Hollywood, Warner Bros. is putting another of its films in the studio vault. The studio no longer plans to release 'Coyote vs. Acme' thr.cm/P09ywTA

Doctor Strange: huh turns out these things are way more fun when they let really good filmmakers actually direct them. Delightful nonsense. Best post credits scene ever

I just saw Napoleon and it is so so so funny that the trailers are set to Black Sabbath and selling this as a badass war movie when it’s mostly a comedy about the weirdest little loser in all of Europe (I had so much fun, bring on the 4-hour version)
