    We just wired our 15th pre-seed deal out of our latest fund. A few quick stats: – 11 were pre-revenue – 7 founders we’ve worked with or backed before – 8 we met for the first time – 5 from cold inbound – 8 based in SF, others in Texas, NYC or elsewhere – Half of the SF founders

    20 yrs ago today we launched our .com. We survived the bust by keeping burn low & not raising $$$ until we had a real biz. We sold in a mostly stock deal to @Rackspace and IPO’d on 8.8.08. We survived the crisis by managing costs & fanatically supporting our customers.📈📉📈📉📈
