I drive a Honda Clarity Hybrid. I pay $20/month on gas. My last car was an S550 Benz. I spent $500/month on gas. A lot of people I know look at me crazy for this. Some people think I must be doing worse financially and needed the downgrade. Only the real hustlers understand

So many people saying “Don’t go broke trying to look rich” Keep spreading that. I first came across it years ago when @BENBALLER tweeted it. Ain’t nothing truer.

crazy that the God of the universe is on your side at all times and you don't think you can achieve your absolutely microscopic dust sized goals because the devil is whispering laughable deceit into your ears to make you feel alone, small, insecure, and insufficient

Let me break it down to all you confused folks: Benz $80+ per fillup 1-2x a week (premium). Honda $20 per fillup 1x a month. Live in CA. Drive over 100 miles in a day many days. Honda uses electricity first before gas. Keep charging Honda so I almost never use gas.

find yourself a good girl, go get whats yours, stay lowkey, have a beautiful family, stay off the digital grid, thank God daily for every blessing you have regardless of how trivial you currently view them to be, and be a positive beacon light of the world, salt of the earth

for everyone wondering what i read: i never read self-help and tend to not read nonfiction i prefer fiction books because they keep my creativity and inner child alive. have also grown up voraciously reading them as my favorite hobby (nostalgia) Chesterton explains it well:

If you make $100 but spend $90 You are broker than the person who made $20 but spent none of it. If you make 100k but spend 80k You are broker than the person who made 60k but spent 20k. Stop playing status games. Wealth games > status games. Delay the gratification.

My mentor gave me a TV show recommendation: Undercover Billionaire A self-made billionaire is given $100 and his task is to build a million dollar business within 90 days. Watch it. So many lessons and so humbling. Successful people will be successful no matter what.
