- When I first got interested in ortho in college (~8 years ago), it was around 12%! As an applicant, I can see myself (female and a DO) represented in many of the programs & I can't wait to be that role model for someone else. There's work to do but change is definitely happening.

This year we are really trying to emphasize and encourage opportunities to network with surgeons who are part of the College (per student feedback) so you definitely don't want to miss this conference!It's time to mark your calendars for the Fall ACOS-MSS Student Conference! The conference will take place on Friday, September 22nd and Saturday, September 23rd at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile. Registration is limited, so be sure to sign up as soon as possible!
