    Besonders schön fand ich übrigens diese Worte in der Vorstellung: „Dabei sieht es so aus, als habe Dr. Thu Nguyen (…) Europa bereits in die Wiege gelegt bekommen“. Denn genauso fühlt es sich für mich an.

    Der Europäische Gerichtshof hat Polen zu Strafzahlungen in Höhe von €1 Mio. für jeden Tag, an dem das Land das EuGH-Urteil zu seiner Disziplinarkammer nicht umsetzt, verurteilt. Ein Thread mit einer kurzen Einordnung zu der Höhe dieser Summe:

    For anyone not following German politics, the state of the debate here is currently a petty back and forth on whether to hold the elections a few weeks earlier or not. Arguments include the impact on Christmas festivities and also whether the country has enough paper in store.
