I can’t be Harley Quinn apologist if she's never done anything wrong/ based and Harlivypilled/ DNI if you don’t like Harley Quinn/ I AM NOT A JESTER PURIST!!
- People are defending this because “we need a different take on Harley’s character” so here are some ACTUAL different takes on Harley’s character that respect Arleen’s impact on Harley Quinn:Todd Phillips says Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn is not similar to past interpretations. “The high voice, that accent, the gum-chewing, and all that sort of sassy stuff that’s in the comics, we stripped that away” (Source: variety.com/2024/film/feat…)
- This should be classified as murder btwWho got that one Harley Quinn panel?

00:00 - Replying to @omgsoyousee-Harley from Batman: Caped Crusader It’s a different take on Harley because when she is Harleen, she is playful and upbeat and when she’s Harley Quinn, she’s more serious and calculating. She has different villain motivations than normal Harley and she hasn’t met the joker yet.
- YALL THIS IS OFFICIALLY HARLEY’S NEW OUTFIT IN HER SOLO OMGG??? THE HAIR??? THE COAT??? WERE SO BACK
- Replying to @omgsoyousee-Harley from Batman:The Enemy Within Its a different take on Harleys character because it flips the dynamic joker and Harley usually have, and makes Harley the manipulator/abuser in the relationship instead. Also Her villain motivations are completely different than normal Harley
- Say what you want about Harley’s pink and blue ends, but they’re better than the red and blue ends. Having just one section of her hair that clashes with her outfit makes her hair look a lot more jarring. The blue stands out awkwardly while the red matches the color palette.
- Posts like these are so pointless to me. Arleen was literally the inspiration for Harley Quinn. Arleen didn’t simply play Harley, she WAS Harley. Paul Dini directly based Harley Quinn on Arleen’s performance as Calliope in Days of Our Lives. No one will ever come close to Arleen.
- Replying to @omgsoyouseebefore I end the thread, I want to make it clear that Todd Phillips is allowed to have a different interpretation on her, but to take away her iconic traits and brush them off as cartoonish, silly, and “sassy”traits that dont fit in a gritty film is disrespectful to Arleen Sorkin
- Replying to @omgsoyousee-Harley from Batman '89: Echoes Harley here never really met the joker but has a unique fascination with him. She’s also a talk show host who stirs up controversy. She’s a very corrupt psychologist and very manipulative and has patients she practices persona therapy on
