No the car light won't stay red, it will show a right turn arrow ONLY.. or left too if that's allowed. I'm glad they are finally doing something about this, I do think many people who drive straight just don't know they can't

. @akchmiel and I did some examination of back to school data from the Toronto District School Board @tdsb. What we found (richer families in large numbers registering for In School learning) needs a deeper investigation..

I'm so happy we've finally made it to the hearing! And a big hat tip to @IHRP_UofT @SamerMuscati @_PMolnar and all those working to make driving, especially as a job, more accessible to all refugees coming to Ontario
Ontario’s driver’s licensing rules discriminate against refugees from war-torn countries by demanding written proof of their driving experience from their country of origin — something not required of others, a human rights tribunal has heard. thestar.com/news/gta/2018/…

I've been lucky to work with formerly homeless people at the end of their lives who were given homes after their terminal diagnosis. In one case, my hospice client actually didn't die -- he made a remarkable recovery. Housing the homeless can be transformative:
Love this: COVID-19 "ended up demonstrating a new, improved model for emergency shelters that allows homeless people the space and dignity they need to get their chaotic lives under control and prepare themselves for a life inside, off the streets." theglobeandmail.com/canada/article…

This has happened and will happen again in Toronto unless we get ahead of it. I hope Hamilton can get a handle on this

I was at the memorial before this and the number of homeless people who died in Toronto in the last month.. the names just kept coming. It's appalling and preventable. @JohnTory the city needs to do more

Dark days in Alaska, but they aren't getting enough attention. This thread is worth a read, especially for those connected to public education, which is most of us

This 1000x. I worked with a downtown resident who speaks English, was given the link for vaccines by family doctor, but couldn't do it. He needed a supporter to walk him through it. We got it done. Patients need navigators.. that's what some children are doing for their parents!
