The FMGE results were announced months ago, but FMGs from Rajasthan are still waiting to start their internship. We urge the Rajasthan government and the medical council to expedite the process, as the waiting period is causing significant mental distress for FMGs.

On December 7, 2023, the NMC issued a notice requiring FMGs to complete a 3-year internship/clerkship for online classes, which was previously 2 years. The initial notice was specifically for Ukraine-returned FMGs who were unable to complete their classes due to their return.
