- Alhaitham being canonically lazy has got to be one of the funniest gap moes hyv has ever pulled bc they threw him into the archon quest putting in the WORK for all three arcs and then HYV turned around and was like “yeah that was OOC of him. He’s usually just napping at his desk”
- Alhaitham’s “not many people know who he is” vs Kaveh “renowned” “famous architect” made me realise that everyone being shocked that he’s roommates with Alhaitham is because they’re surprised Kaveh is living with just some guy. Like if I told you Da Vinci was roommates with Steve
- Alhaitham: I believe in work life balance Ayato: ? Ganyu: ?? Jean: ??? Alhaitham: it’s what it’s called when you go home at the end of the day even if your work is not done Jean: end of the day…I see, so midnight? Alhaitham: …some of you are beyond salvation
- genshin characters r well written and all have their own personalities to the point where u can pretty much imagine what any characters interacting together would be like even if they’ve never interacted in canon
- I lowkey still think hyv were originally going to make Alhaitham more relevant to the overall Sumeru lore (bc he has a few red herrings in his design) but the spirit of alhaitham himself showed up in the writer’s dreams and forced them to make him just a normal guynot every genshin characters need to be lore relevant, some playable characters are just normal people who got granted with a vision who their own life and it's okay.
- Do u realise how unhinged it is that Alhaitham asked Kaveh “no where were YOU when Sumeru needed you most” Kaveh literally JUST GOT HERE. TRAVELER DOESNT EVEN KNOW HIS NAME YET. And Alhaitham is acting like like Kaveh is part of the fucking Avengers of Sumeru 😭😭
- Alhaitham who prefers to be difficult to find and Cyno who works alone and Tighnari who doesn’t like the loud city and Kaveh…who we don’t know enough about yet. But these characters all have their reasons to be alone, are together enjoying each others’ company. It’s very sweet

Hyv why huh he’s a Spread dps let him spread - Replying to @noxcturnesI’ve been so biased by how important Alhaitham was in the archon quest that I didn’t think that he might be unknown in Sumeru and it’s funny in hindsight that the Archon quest was pulled off by Two Public Servants, A Lesbian Mercenary and A Performer They Roped In Off The Street
