- Since the staff turnover, UVA's 2025 recruiting class ranking has risen from 16th to 6th overall at Perfect Game. And that's with several high profile decommitments accounted for. We are going to be okay (well, a lot better than okay I'd guess).UVA picked up another commitment in outfielder LJ Edwards, a source confirms. Edwards hits for power from the left side and is ranked No. 74 nationally by Perfect Game. Virginia currently has the No. 6 ranked high school class in the country, according to Perfect Game.
