Beneath poise was softness she rarely let through—except in art, where sorrow became something strangely beautiful. ( 🇬🇧 | ENG, FICTION. ) — S-IC, MCMXCIX.
- Replying to @Verdictuem⠀ Exceptional job, must say. I suppose it requires unique kind of strength, dealing with such personal and intimate moments? As for the past, I find it captivating for the hidden truths, the stories, choices that shape us today, often in ways we don’t fully understand. ⠀

- Replying to @noctishaven⠀ Of course. Not a suggestion—just Mum being Mum. I sighed, wiping my hand on a sheet of tissue next to my paper, before grabbing my phone to search for Raymond’s contact and put us into a video call instead. ⠀
- Replying to @noctishaven⠀ “I do love reading too, so that helps.” When he asked about New York, her eyes briefly flicked towards the window, watching the busy street outside before looking back at him. “As a native, I’d definitely say London is the best—no place like home, right? But New York…” ⠀
- ⠀ Weekend well spent. Mother visited, giving me the permission to practically steal my brother’s car to be her personal chauffer for the day. ⠀
- ⠀ < Does that mean you will be able to answer family’s questions about partner? > ⠀
