    MAIN BREAK UPDATE as of 10:30 a.m.: ➡️Crews successfully install a new section of the 36-inch water main on Rt 206. ➡️Customers currently without water should have water by late this afternoon and may experience cloudy water, discoloration, or pockets of air as service returns.

    Due to the current heat wave hitting the state, New Jersey American Water is asking customers in Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Somerset and Union Counties to adopt an odd/even outdoor watering schedule to conserve water, and at the same time save some money on their water bills.
