- We are all saddened by the passing of Tricia. I am forever grateful for her mindset of going above and beyond for everyone. She was a true friend to us all. We will miss you, Coach Mize. You uplifted us all with your infectious positive personality and determination.
- With graduation coming up, we are going to officially bid farewell to @ZChildress9. Zion was named our team MVP for the 2019-2020 and is an amazing student and, most importantly, is an incredible person. We are thankful that you are part of our family, Z!
- Well, New Caney, the boys gave it everything they had, but lost to a very talented Austin Anderson team 57-44. Thank you to our four seniors Joey, Nate, Sam, and Braden for everything you gave to this program. Family is forever.

- That’s a wrap on a historical season for these Eagles. We lost 74-55 to Paetow. We came into the year knowing that we had talent but unsure how quickly we would mesh. These young men played with so much integrity and passion. Thank you Lord for letting me be a part of this team!
