- Huge THANKS from @CalgaryPolice to Alberta first responder and policing partners for the ‘Parade of Support’ for Sgt. Harnett, his family and our service. A long procession of emergency vehicles quietly rolled by 5 District and Westwinds Campus today lifting the spirits of many.
- Let me get this straight. Police are called in response to a person in possession of a knife in a public place and YOU HAD to intervene??? The only thing that struck me in your post was your disrespectful and abhorrent behaviour. Your inexplicable need to provoke an argument…/2Replying to @TaylorMcNallieAlso, apparently things blue line PATCHES are banned but PINS are totally a-ok as per @neufeld_mark. Someone want to confirm? @Amtul @MNorthPeigan @ThatHeatherC @T_J_Zhang .....
00:00 - A huge @CalgaryPolice thank you to our city, our citizens, our members, our associations, our partners, and to the police and public safety community here in Alberta and throughout Canada. The last week has been unbelievably difficult, but your outpouring of support has been...
- While fully acknowledging we have much work to do, I hope this quick story makes you as happy as it made me: Earlier this week 2 @CalgaryPolice officers from 5 District stopped a vehicle with an expired plate. The driver turned out to be a new Canadian and didn’t realize the...
- Replying to @neufeld_mark…with these officers as they respond to this situation is inappropriate and completely unhelpful. People who insist on inserting themselves into situations where officers are taking people safely into custody risk being arrested themselves for obstructing a police officer. /3
- Gestapo came knocking at my door! Five summons, and tickets! youtu.be/sYvOUKLlXNE via @YouTube. Please follow public health guidance to reduce the spread of COVID19. I’m proud of these @CalgaryPolice officers for their professionalism as they serve tickets on these folks.
- Replying to @neufeld_mark…As to your commentary on the patches and pins, nobody there was wearing any inappropriate or unapproved symbols on their uniforms.
- This morning @CalgaryPolice members will travel to #YEG along with other #FirstResponders & #PublicSafety partners to support Chief McFee, members of @edmontonpolice, and the families of Cst. Ryan and Cst. Jordan. This will be an emotional and challenging day to say the least…2
- OK...this is FUNNY! Sometimes accurate...and sad...yet funny! A respected teammate gave this to me this afternoon as she headed out for the holidays. Thanks for the laugh! I will definitely display it proudly - and thank you for your work. You are a skilled “fire extinguisher”
- Sad day today for us at @CalgaryPolice. We said goodbye to a wonderful leader and friend, Sgt Stuart Logan - 6 District. Stuart passed away suddenly while off duty enjoying time with his son. Stuart has had a tremendously positive impact on so many. We will miss him for certain!
