That team was biased against ALO, the Bridgestone tyres made him look worse and Lewis had been testing with the team since 2004. Fernando was wildly inconsistent that year and should’ve done better, but there were also reasons behind Lewis’s performance

Anyone who claims that if you don’t have the same career stats as Lewis, then you can’t speak, not only invalidates any reasonable discussion about their favourite driver, but also invalidates any fan’s own thoughts as they haven’t even competed in F1. Let people have opinions.

‘Pressure to win the WCC’ Bro was in the fastest car more than half the season yet finished 70 points off the drivers title. If he felt pressure in Abu Dhabi to win the WCC, I mean come on, both he and Oscar stumbled into it.

This is pretty idiotic. Forcing teams to keep struggling drivers they don’t want would create so much unnecessary animosity. If you’re not quick after five or ten races, and you haven’t shown any potential, you won’t be quick after 24 races. Also, Jenson, remember Monaco 2017?

Those stats aren’t accurate to their performance because reliability was such a big factor and Max was affected worse by it. From the summer of 2016 onwards Max was faster, if more error prone, yet I believe Daniel wanted outright No 1 status which Red Bull refused to give him

If you do teammate comparisons there’s a line of thought that makes Jean-Eric Vergne the GOAT. Also BUT vs HAM/ALO BUT was on average 0.196 secs slower than HAM from 2010-12 and 4.254 secs behind in races BUT was 0.160 off ALO in qualy and 13.343 off in races
