    Cherish every day- Everybody likes to say that, but now I'm living it. This picture was just a month ago. And now my Dad has passed away in the blink of an eye. I post this to honor my Dad. He was 73, a former radio DJ, and one of the most popular guys in a small Montana town. 🙏

    My wife's elementary class has track & field day. Text from wife: "4 of my kids didn't bring a lunch today, can you pick up 4 lunches and drop them off please." Be grateful for teachers that care. Many people that are complaining about schools/teachers have no clue!

    Watched a High School aged girl officiate a youth game today. She had to eject an adult fan that was yelling...and she handled it really well. Then I found out she quit and didn't come back for the next game. Adults...What are we doing???

    HUGE news tonight: New sports betting bill will be introduced at SD Legislature. Plan could be to have it regulated & running through Deadwood casinos, with potential for statewide bets being accepted on a mobile device if you register for an account.

    This $104 Million dollar tax cut will save each South Dakota resident an average of $116 dollars. I'd rather the Legislature keep my $116 and use the $104 Million in revenue to enhance teacher pay and fund early childhood education. 🤷‍♂️ #sdleg

    House passed reduction in South Dakota state sales and use tax to 4.2% moments ago. Current rate is 4.5%. Rep. Chris Karr's bill now goes to Senate. #keloland

    Is Sturgis the only program that does this in SD...and 8th Grader Signing Day...I like the idea! Biggest dropoff in participation is always 8th Grade to Freshman year...

    Thought on SD's Meth, I'm On It campaign. The biggest news to me is that the campaign and media placement went over $1.3 Million...BUT the state's entire 2020 budget includes $1 million for meth treatment services...seems odd to spend more on one awareness campaign, No?

    I see that #sdleg House Bill 1216 is seeking to remove collective bargaining for school district employees. What an idea, tighten up those salary negotiations for teachers during a nationwide teacher shortage! At this rate, we'll be lucky if good teachers even stay with it in SD.
