    Spoke to @DrSasa22222 earlier today. The UK welcomes the @CrphMyanmar vision for a peaceful return to democracy. We call on the #Myanmar military to end the violence and engage with the newly nominated Interim National Unity Government to restore civilian rule.

    Following yesterday’s cabinet, this morning I’ve been to Downing Street & resigned my position as UK Govt Minister for Wales & Govt Whip. I’m grateful to the PM for the opportunity to serve as a Minister since 2017 & will continue to serve my constituents from the backbenches.

    Tonight I did everything I could to stop the Parliament being prorogued. I presented York’s petition via a Point of Order, and then tried to stop the Speaker going to the Lords.

    PM's supporters making case he was there for around 9 mins amid 20 other meetings that day. Say he'd been on a visit that morning, came back and ate a salad between meetings while people sung happy birthday So far, no Tory gunning for him despite opposition brown trousers.
