In the last 5-6 years, no #Kannada film has given her a meaty role. #RachitaRam was a big surprise in #Coolie for me. She is so convincing in a complex role. The character has an arc & gets solid screen time. Wish #KFI filmmakers gave our gifted female actors more room to perform

In #KantaraChapter1, #RukminiVasanth has a commanding screen presence. Her dialogue delivery stands out. In The Hindu roundtable, she spoke about coming out of comfort zone. If #Madharasi gave her a serious role, #Kantara pushes her abilities. This is a big step in her career

Stopped eating ghee-heavy, orange-coloured 'doses' in fancy outlets. Those thinking it's the signature #Bengaluru dose are wrong. As a #Kannadiga, can never understand the use of 'podi' in every form of dose! Homemade ones, soft & fluffy, with a tinge of ghee & palya is bliss

#Max is an admirable experiment. A big hero doing a genre-specific film is refreshing. With time, experienced stars must deviate from the template and yet find a way to succeed. @KicchaSudeep seems to be doing it and that's a great sign!
