Omg I saw this story and casually told my mom about it and she wasn’t surprised. She said it happened to her friend when she was younger too and apparently some doctors SA patients under anesthesia.

- If you are defensive because of this take then maybe you should do some deep thinking. It’s not solely about the price but really the intent behind black women feeling obligated to go to these lengths (financially and socially) to achieve a beauty standard.
- I don’t know if it’s just me, but I don’t really believe in second chances. If someone has expressed that they aren’t satisfied with who I am to them, then why try again? The circumstance and their expectations might change but I sure won’t.
