    It seems cosmically unfair but Truman’s slogan If you want to live like a Republican vote Democratic, has a corollary. Once you live like a Republican you’ll vote Republican. For Dem WHs, low unemployment (1952, 1968, 2000, 2016) means GOP social issues attract swing voters.

    We really are the worst. Just spoke to someone who tested COVID+. If he isolates for 2 wks, no pay (& no sick leave, remember we’re the worst). I told him I’d call boss & walk him through COVID sick pay tax credit. Guess what, it expires 9/30. So he’ll be working (food services).

    Pompeo’s idea of a “Trump Peace Plan for Ukraine” is to give Zelensky a $500 BILLION shopping spree at the Pentagon to buy whatever weapons he wants. So Zelensky could obtain the Tomahawks he’s been asking for and strike Moscow. This is not a peace plan; it’s a way to start WW3.

    It looks like both GA Senate races are going to Jan runoff. If Democrats win both they control Senate (50+VP). If they don’t, Biden’s legislative agenda is doomed. Before they spend a $ on TV ads, they better scour state for eligible but not registered voters, deadline is Dec 7.

    I like the cut of this guy’s jibe. He replaced a single family home in Los Angeles with a 33 unit apartment building and is in the process of replacing another w/ a 67 unit apt building, driving the local NIMBYs incandescent with rage. You love to see it.

    Now that’s a plot twist! Ukraine’s UN Ambassador points out that when USSR collapsed in 1991, Russia took over its UN seat (which made it a permanent member of Security Council). Contrary to terms of UN Charter, the General Assembly has never voted to approve Russia’s membership.

    ICE agents just snatched a Journalist & were Speeding away when they hit a woman’s vehicle that was going to work & doing nothing wrong! They almost left the scene after slamming into her,but then snatched her out of her car at gunpoint and took her with them! 🤬
