Excited to share the @RippleXDev Extensibility Team’s proposed vision for XRP Ledger Programmability! 🔊
Today’s announcement includes a blog post detailing our vision, and two specs. 🧵
There are a ton of new exciting features coming out soon on the XRP Ledger! Let’s talk about Devnets and how you can help with the development process, even if you know nothing about C++ or even how to code. 🧵
Possibly the best single lineup of amendments we've ever had in one release.
Features:
- Token Escrow adds support for IOUs and MPTs to the native Escrow primitive (written and designed by @angell_denis)
- Batch adds the ability to group multiple transactions and execute them
Credentials are coming to the XRPL!
This new feature enables secure, lightweight identity verification, helping institutions meet KYC/AML compliance without sacrificing privacy or decentralization.
Let’s dive in… 🧵

The #XRPL is really chugging along today! Almost 30 TPS, with a healthy mix of different transaction types, mostly on the DEX.

The #XRPL DID amendment goes live today! DIDs (Decentralized Identifiers) in web3 can be pretty confusing, when looking into how they work. Here’s an explainer for XLS-40 and DID on the #XRPL!🧵👇
A short update before the holidays on how Ripple’s work on an XRPL programmability proposal is going:
We are just about to wrap up the Discovery phase, doing deep dives into the different types of VMs that exist out there (especially in the blockchain sphere). Some of the smart
Congrats to @Bullish on a successful IPO! 👏
A portion of the IPO proceeds were settled in $RLUSD, minted on the XRP Ledger. This is the first public listing to bring the settlement process onchain and sets a precedent for how stablecoins can shape future listings.
