Please pray for MRA football coach Herbert Davis. He is battling an infection and is in ICU at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. MRA associate head coach/defensive coordinator Danny White will replace Davis as head coach while he is out. MRA opens the season Thursday at Parklane.

With his permission, we at Mississippi Scoreboard ask you to please pray for a Metro Jackson coach, Richland High head football coach J.J. Plummer, who has tested positive for the Coronavirus and is in St. Dominic hospital. Please pray for a speedy recovery.

Please pray for Jackson Prep head football coach Ricky Black and his wife Linda. The Blacks have both been admitted to regular hospital rooms to receive IV treatment for COVID 19. They are feeling better and improving everyday. Prayers for complete healing are appreciated.

Please pray for Jackson Academy baseball player Sherrod Cauthen, who suffered multiple facial injuries affer being hit by a line drive while standing in the dugout of the JA-Hartfield Academy game, JA coach Parker Harris said. Cauthen was released from the hospital this morning.

Please pray for Madison-Ridgeland Academy football coach Herbert Davis, who is in the hospital with pneumonia. Davis led MRA to its third consecutive MAIS Class 6A state championship this past fall. He has won 220 games and six state titles in his 25-year head coaching career.
