- Prayers go out from the MAIS family for Jeremiah Williams, the young man from Greenville who was seriously injured in a football game Friday night against Madison Central. May our great and mighty God wrap His arms around Jeremiah and his family.
- Special night at MRA tonight as Josh Hubbard set the all-time MPSA/MAIS scoring record with 3169 points! Josh broke Ken Coghlan’s (East Rankin) 42-year old record of 3168! Ken was in attendance tonight to congratulate Josh on the new record. L-R (Josh, Coach Duease, & Ken).
- Congratulations to the now LEADING SCORER IN MISSISSIPPI HS BASKETBALL HISTORY, Josh Hubbard from MRA. He broke Robert Woodard’s 37-year old record tonight in their 1-point semi-final win against Presbyterian Christian School. Way to work Josh!

- Congratulations to Coach Jon Reed McLendon and the Greenville Christian Saints for knocking off the #1 team in MIssissippi, Oak Grove High School. The game ended 48-41 and took 3 ½ hours to play!
