- My wife bought this arty mirror and I’m just wondering if anyone else is thinking what I’m thinking.
- I have my daughter’s graduation on Wednesday. I haven’t worn my suit since pre-lockdown. I have less than 36 hours to lose a stone and a half.
- Fuck. I’m 60. Such a difficult day for any male actor to finally enter the 35-45 playing range.
- My Dad would have turned 95 this month. Towards the end of his life I asked him what he would have done differently if he had his time over. He considered for a moment, then said ‘probably wouldn’t have had children’. 14 years ago and I still laugh every time I think about it.
- So day 5 of my twitter life. Disappointed I haven’t been involved in a spat yet. Boris Johnson is an exceptional PM. Bob Dylan’s best work came in his Christian period. Hibs will spank Hearts in the semi cos the jambos are a pub team.
- Aw man what terribly sad news about Robbie Coltrane. Worked with him a few times, drank with him a few times. Brilliant actor, brilliant company. RIP.
- Right. My very first tweet. Pressure’s on. Er…hello.
- Driving to Edinburgh, a car full of props, a head full of lines I don’t quite know yet and a nervous liver. Yup, it’s another festival. This year I’m back as The Chief. Love to see you there.
