Congrats to Missouri Southern football alumni, Rod Smith. 10 years ago today he officially retired from the NFL.
Rod spent his entire career (13 seasons) with the Denver Broncos.
His 849 career receptions and 11,389 receiving yards ranked him 27th and 31st all-time, respectively.

- The brand new Rasmussen Baseball & Softball Practice Facility was unveiled at a dedication this afternoon. The 6,500 square-foot training facility was entirely donor funded and gives our student athletes an indoor space to train.
- The safety of our students, faculty and staff is among our top priorities. Due to ice and snow still covering many neighborhood streets and side roads, as well as the possibility for more snow this evening, the campus will be closed for day & evening classes on Thursday, Feb. 6.
- Construction is happening! Work is underway on Lion Village, the latest addition to our residence halls. The project, which will create housing for 304 students, will be completed in time for the Fall 2021 semester.
