- Unpopular (maybe?) opinion…but access has fueled NCAA interest for years. How about we focus on conversations where an already stacked deck in ranking process is trying to be manipulated to give certain conferences greater access in the future. G5s have to build 7-9 weeks ofUnpopular (maybe?) opinion...the Group of 5 should not AUTOMATICALLY get a team in the 12 team playoff. If they're ranked high enough? Sure. But not every year
