- At the Morton District 709 Board meeting on Tuesday, April 18th, the Board of Education approved the hiring of Abe Zeller to be the new MHS Varsity Basketball Coach and PE Teacher. His official start date will be on June 1, 2023. @AdamDuvall

- We are sorry to hear of Coach Norm Reiser’s passing today. He coached the Potters from 1971 - 1995. He was 434-195 at Morton and won 8 regional titles. In 1979 his Morton team went 28-0 before losing to Peoria High in the regional title game. Coach was 81
