How do we ask parents to pay $15 per day to get into a tournament, then ask them to volunteer to run the table at that same event that they already paid to be at?! That’s like going out to eat, paying for your food, then being asked to cook it yourself. Seems backward.

Had 16 kids in the gym on Thanksgiving night. After sharing something we’re all thankful for, we got some work in. Then, they decided they wanted to dunk a little bit... #Team1557

With 36 points tonight in a 95-82 vs. Ozark, Terrell Kabala scored his 1,000th point during his final game in the Cardinal Dome. Also, keep in mind that Terrell missed his entire sophomore season due to a torn ACL. Congrats, Terrell!!!!

Unpopular opinion: Parsons (KS) 2020 Dariq Williams is the most dynamic point guard in Kansas. Williams scored 22 points in a win over Fort Scott last night, including this dunk. Parsons has now won 9 of its last 10 games. @PrepHoopsKS @sportsinkansas

#Team1557 alum Terrell Kabala started his college career at Arkansas-Fort Smith with 13 points (6-8 FG) and a steal. He also put down this dunk. TK doing TK things already.

Also joining us this summer is Parsons (KS) 2020 G Dariq Williams. The 4A All-State selection flirted with a triple-double, averaging 10 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds. He’s a 3-sport standout with freakish athleticism and instincts. Welcome to the family, Dariq!! #Team1557

It’s hard to be a basketball fan and not appreciate what Joplin (MO) 2020 CG Dakarai Allen is doing. He’s among the best available guards in Missouri. He’s not a Victory kid, but coaches should definitely check him out ASAP.

One of our parents came across this post on Facebook. The athlete being praised is Isaiah Davis, a three-sport standout and one of our players. He’s a high character & high academic kid. No matter what he does athletically, it’ll never match the kind of person Za is. #Team1557
