Reflections after a year of caring for inpatients with COVID:
1. This third wave really is different, with very sick young patients
2. Many are previously healthy and have no idea how they acquired it
3. It's remarkable how treatment has evolved

- COVID ward observation: our older hospitalized patients often do not use phones/tablets and are desperate for newspapers, other reading material and radios. Wish these were more available on the wards.
