    Online abuse of female journalists is disgusting. Some comments about Karyn reveal cruelty & lack of humanity thats off the charts. No ability to think of her as their mom, sister or daughter sick with Covid but spinelessly hide behind anonymity spitting bile. We stand with Karyn

    Pleased #CyrilFridays is out-trending #CyrilMaskChallenge because my abiding memory of last night is @PresidencyZA's leadership & calm authority. The mask 'wardrobe malfunction' made us laugh but in the nicest possible way, relieving stress & reminding us that we're all human

    India may be world's largest democracy but under #Modi it is now controlled by anti-democratic Hindu nationalists, with authoritarian, fascist intentions towards Muslims in general & #Kashmir in particular. @RanaAyyub says #Kashmir "is sliding down a dangerous path".

    The German Embassy trolls the Russian Embassy in SA. 👏👏 Someone had to do it. The irony should not be lost that the Russian Embassy freely tweets in SA while denying freedom of expression to their citizens back home. We stand with all oppressed people, incl the Russian people.

    Quite incredibly, the Ghana FA might actually be helping the SAFA cause with this emotional, conspiratorial and belligerent response. These are totally inappropriate comments about a legitimate complaints process within the FIFA framework.

    #CliftonBeach has always been an exclusively white bubble within a very rich bubble within a #CapeTown bubble. So its no surprise that when the 3 bubbles burst it hit people who suddenly realised 'shock horror' that they weren't living in south of France anymore #CliftonTheSheep

    Disproportionate attention given to ICJ not ordering a ceasefire instead of on SA lawyers wiping floor on all major legal arguments. I agree with Naledi Pandor that, while ordering a ceasefire was hoped for, Israel cannot effectively comply with the #ICJ order without a ceasefire
