Leyton Orient Football Club is devastated to confirm that the supporter who was taken ill at Tuesday's game against Lincoln City has sadly passed away.
Rest in peace, Derek ❤️
I remain devastated by this. It appears all consider it disrespectful. We have all been through enough. The @EFL have let themselves down and misjudged this entirely. As a reminder your officials wanted the game to continue whilst my Dad was having CPR. Have some dignity.
In memory of Dad the fantastic @LOFCSupporters raised over £1k on Sat. Thank you to @KerenOrient and @LindaBroughan and everyone who donated. The family would like to donate 90% to the @JE3Foundation and 10% to Cats Protection Waltham Forest. 👏 We will never forget Saturday. ❤️
Following the tragic passing of life-long O's supporter Derek Reynolds at Brisbane Road and the subsequent abandonment of the fixture versus Lincoln City on October 3, Leyton Orient can confirm that the fixture will be replayed in full.

@EFL Have some shame. My Dad died whilst your protocol said “play on”. A life long fan who gave his life to the Club and loved this league. It’s more than a game of football. Let us move on. We are 💔 . @LincolnCity_FC@leytonorientfc#footballfamily
Tragic 💔 I want to send my heartfelt condolences to Derek’s family and friends at this extremely difficult time. Any help myself or @JE3Foundation can be I encourage you to get in contact. Big love to the entire @leytonorientfc family ❤️
The support from everyone has overwhelmed us. Thank you to @LincolnCity_FC and their fans for this tribute. Moments like this bring the football community together. ❤️ #footballfamily
To those attending, if you wish, a book of condolence can be signed from 1.30pm on the East side of the stadium (available at old Ticket Office next to Gate 2). Thank you for all the messages received so far. It has been hugely appreciated at a difficult time. ❤️ @leytonorientfc
Ahead of tonight's fixture, we have added a brick to the Orient Wall in memory of Derek Reynolds, on the front of the Justin Edinburgh West Stand.
A Book of Condolence will also once again be available to sign in the Main Reception.

This is correct. Lincoln didn’t push for the replay. It was an EFL decision. Same organisation that believe a medical emergency on the touchline shouldn’t see the game stopped despite hindering paramedics (don’t get me started). Good luck to Lincoln for the rest of the season.
Proud we could commemorate Derek’s life with a fitting win. Elite mentally from everyone involved at the club during a tough week. He’d have been so proud of the club this weekend. ❤️
Following the untimely passing of my Dad at Leyton Orient - Lincoln the family have set up a page for @TheBHF

Thank you for all the support over the last 3 weeks ❤️
It will never be forgotten.
@RichieWe11ens I spoke with the @EFL yesterday who stated that sporting integrity was the most important factor in all this. Despite their initial comms stating the views of both Clubs would be a factor they decided to blaze their own trail anyway.
