- Sen. Creighton says that private schools don't need to teach the STAAR test because their students already take norm referenced tests like the ACT and the SAT. I guess public school kids don't take the ACT or the SAT.
GIF - I had an interesting conversation with a private school admin about vouchers. They said it wouldn't affect them because they're not going to accept those kids. In this school 80% of the students are legacies and the school isn't interested in taken voucher kids. @GovAbbott
- Very disappointed than my state representative @DavidSpillerTX didn't support the amendmant that would have stripped vouchers out of HB1. Thankfully enough of legislators had the courage to do so.
