- I'm excited to share that I'll be joining the newsroom at @CrainsCleveland on May 18, as an enterprise reporter. I'm looking forward to being part of the team - and I'm thrilled that I'll still be able to write about real estate, economic development and other biz topics in #CLE.
- I’ve lived in Cleveland for more than a decade, but I only learned today that there’s a city-owned ice rink that’s free - with skate rentals for only $1. So much fun on a winter Saturday!
- The Cleveland City Planning Commission just gave final architectural approval to the Clinic-Cavs Global Peak Performance Center downtown - the first building in developer Bedrock's $3.5 billion plan for a big stretch of the riverfront. A groundbreaking event is set for Oct. 14.
- Bedrock, the Detroit-based owner of Tower City and riverfront land behind it, has submitted additional images from its master plan to the Cleveland City Planning Commission. The commission is scheduled to see an informational presentation Friday. Context: crainscleveland.com/real-estate/be…

- Bedrock unveils its sweeping master plan for Tower City Center and downtown Cleveland's riverfront. As part of the announcement, the company confirms it has deals to buy the existing Sherwin-Williams HQ and riverfront technology center flanking the site.
- The West Side Market just won a nearly $1.3 million state brownfield grant - money that will be part of a much larger renovation project that could start next year.

- Cleveland just won a $69 million federal grant to build its planned land bridge to the downtown lakefront. The award, from the Reconnecting Communities program, positions the city to start construction on the bridge and a makeover of the Shoreway in 2027.
