- Here’s my outlook on all this as a teacher: We’re still getting paid. SO many other people can’t even say that. If me being in school, even over Easter hols, means that an NHS worker etc... can go and do their thing. Then so be it. This is so much bigger than us.
- This month I’m doing the ‘October Teacher Challenge’ where I basically just try and get through October.
- I always sleep like a baby the night before we go back to school 😌 (waking up every two hours crying)
- ‘If 10,000 people can make a five mile queue and wait in it for 22 hours then 30 of you can wait in this line 2 more minutes for playtime’ actually left my mouth yesterday.
- Me checking the coast is clear before I print something in colour on the photocopier.

- 🚨Rare sincere tweet🚨For me, I think anxiety about going back to school stems largely from, once it begins, you know that’s it - you’re totally consumed by it for the next 10 months & will only really get to switch off again next summer. Kinda daunting & never really gets easier
