i wanna know if i'm kinda buggin about something here: kpop idol careers feel so odd to me lately like for instance aespa is going on 4 years old and it feels like they just debuted and need more time to grow whereas back in the day groups felt quite established by this point

- yoooo she said trickle down neckonomics
- and just like that... another gen of kpop fans Gets Old
- we must end the lionization and the myth of the singer-songwriter! teamwork makes the dream work!
GIFthe older i get the more im bothered by the fact that idols donโt make their own music, its like who am i really stanning - this is why we can't have nice things man y'all just can't have fun for once what isn't awesome about a group sticking to their visual theme??? they look so cute!!
- Replying to @nagisanochoerryplus 3rd gen stans are fiercely loyal and very feisty so anyone new was seen immediately as a threat
- Replying to @missozmastray kids' management making desperate missteps shouldn't come as such a surprise but it just... does kai and taeyong enlisting felt a lot more like a blow than any 1st or 2nd gen idol ever did. ppl say "focus on your artists!!" when the "artists" are way out of their prime
- 127 is officially The Group Who Hates Haechan now and dream are Best Friends Forever until jeno talks too long and then dream is The Group Who Hates Haechan until haechan talks too long then--
- extreme johnny vibes hereBefore he was a Hollywood actor, KEANU REEVES worked for CBC and did a news report on a Teddy Bear convention in 1984.
00:00 - Replying to @missozmathe expectations ppl have toward itzy and twice are kinda ridiculous imo they're doing soooo much better than any 2nd gen group did at the points they're at like it is 100% absolutely time for new groups from all of the big companies but the fans are quite resistant
- imagine going from being street casted with no particular musical skills to creating this
- Replying to @missozmaif super junior debuted four to six years after tvxq idek if there'd be a kpop as we know it treasure still feels like "yg's new group" even though they're overdue for the Anticipated Trainees part of the debut process. ppl are shocked sm has another japanese group in the works
