    As a person whose life has been transformed many times by the simple act of reading words on a page, it grieves me to see women rejecting or fearing words, spitting on feminist writing & disowning women who use that medium as enemies of 'real world' wisdom.

    Dominic Raab: "One thing we know about our Prime Minister is that he's a fighter." Stop making the act of whether someone is able to breathe or not into a narrative of strength & weakness. It implies that those who die didn't fight hard enough. These war metaphors are repulsive.

    Spend days defending Labour. Standing up for Corbyn. Refusing, despite its issues, to give up on the only party I ever felt represents my values. Then some twat gets resounding applause from the Labour conference hall for calling women hateful fascists. I think I'm done.
