- Our sport has always had "funded" drivers. But its high time a few of these privileged kids, powered by daddy's pile of cash, realize this whole sport doesn't exist just to make their dreams come true. Take some time to learn from those who've WORKED their way to the top.
- I know everyone is searching for updates and answers this morning, and I wish I had news for you. We all must remain hopeful and keep Ryan in our prayers. The hospital will release updates as they become available. Waiting is hard, but speculating serves no purpose.
- Corey Comperatore was a fixture at Lernerville Speedway in his hometown in PA, a member of the track's Safety Crew for over 20 years. He also sold 50/50 tickets at the speedway to benefit the BTVFD. Corey will forever be remembered as a hero who saved his wife and daughter.
- When Davey Allison told his dad he wanted to race, Bobby put him to work in the race shop... sweeping floors. He graduated to parts washing, then disassembly, then assembly and fabrication. When he finally got in a race car, he fully respected what it took to put it on track.
- Not really. Guest analysts are free to project their experience and opinions, we recognize and value the wins and teams they have been a part of. The emotion in Kurt’s voice at the end was TV magic… you don’t get that from an impartial analyst.
- Many of you read and commented on Kyle Larson's essay. He made an offhanded but very costly remark out of admitted ignorance. He seems aware, repentant, motivated to be an agent for change, and is proving it. Nearly all of you believe he deserves a second chance. Agreed.
- 3) I'm done clapping back at the few who offer only negativity, %$#&!, or personal attacks. Hope you enjoy watching the races as much as I enjoy bringing them to you. Its a privilege, not taken lightly, and a labor of love. Thanks for all the messages of support. Let's move on.
- I'm gutted. No one brought more to a race telecast than @JeffGordonWeb: 93 wins 4 titles, current inside knowledge of how @Nascar Cup teams win and struggle. Jeff's concise factual style, humor and concerted effort to avoid bias will be a playbook for future @FOXSports analysts.

- No, what I love is that the President of our United States chose to spend part of his Sunday at the Daytona 500. That's a great day for our sport.
- Respect...Denny Hamlin said 23XI would have a Cup car ready for Martin Truex Jr. if he wanted to run an occasional race after retiring from full-time competition. Hamlin: "I told him that I will have his Daytona 500 car ready immediately. Just tell me the word."
