    An angry adult barged into our son's elementary school this morning on the first day of school. He threatened teachers & staff while yelling at kids to take off masks before he was arrested. This madness has to stop, as does the anti-science/anti-govt rhetoric fueling the rage.

    I cannot overstate how big of a deal it is for a candidate for President to put housing at the center of an economic agenda. It’s unprecedented. It’s bold. And it’s responsive to the #1 economic challenge facing families across the country. LFG!

    I need to add that the teachers and staff calmly and aptly handled a horrible situation, minimizing its impact on kids who were excited to meet their teachers and begin a new year. My kiddo reported his first day was excellent. Thank you to the countless heroes in our schools.

    On first day MN GOP bill intros include: 🚫👩 Texas-style abortion ban- HF2898 🚫🗳️ Restricting freedom to vote- HF2732 🚫💉 Slew of anti-vax bills 💵 End corporate taxes- HF 2850 🤡 Require ivermectin to be sold OTC- HF2896 When a Party shows you who they are believe them.

    MPR reports for-profit corp wants to operate an ICE detention center here. Profiting from the detention of immigrant families is immoral. We need to say loud & clear - NOT in MN. @aishasgomez & I will introduce legislation next yr to ban for-profit ICE detention centers in MN.

    Did you know that Zoom, a company with a 4000% profit increase last year will pay $0 in federal taxes? Corporate tax avoidance is costing states billions. Today I presented a bill to crack down on companies that shelter profits overseas. It should be a no-brainer. #mnleg

    As the snow falls and the temperature drops, it dawn on me how perverse it is that we have $7 billion surplus while people are living in tents. We are massively underinvesting in housing. The good news is we have the chance to change that. If not now, then when? #mnleg
