    #BREAKING Police called in to manage the crowd at the York Catholic District School Board meeting. The topic of raising the Pride flag at YCDSB schools this June sparked this scene. The man at the beginning who you are seeing get swarmed was there to support raising the flag.

    Some 2SLGBTQ+ students who were still in the meeting were in tears. A trustee then made a speech about keeping kids safe and denouncing hate. When students in the room asked how exactly they were going to do that, there was no response and the meeting continued.
